Allu Arjun Donates ₹25 Lakh : The release of Pushpa 2: The Rule turned tragic as a stampede during the premiere at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad claimed the life of a devoted fan, Revathi, and left her son hospitalized. Actor Allu Arjun, deeply shaken by the incident, took immediate steps to support the grieving family.

On December 4, Allu Arjun attended the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre with his family. The event saw an overwhelming crowd, and in the chaos, Revathi, a mother of two, lost her life due to asphyxiation. Her son was critically injured in the stampede and is currently hospitalized.

The police have since registered a case against Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management, citing negligence. The tragedy has led to widespread shock and sorrow, with Telangana’s cinematography minister announcing a ban on benefit shows in the state to prevent such mishaps in the future.

Allu Arjun released a heartfelt video message on his social media, expressing his sorrow and promising unwavering support for the family. He captioned the video:

“Deeply heartbroken by the tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre. My heartfelt condolences go out to the grieving family during this unimaginably difficult time. I want to assure them they are not alone in this pain and will meet the family personally. While respecting their need for space to grieve, I stand committed to extend every possible assistance to help them navigate through this challenging journey.”

In the video, Arjun explained that the massive turnout at the premiere was unexpected and that he only learned about the tragedy the following morning. “We were very disappointed and shocked; none of us feel like celebrating. We make films so people can enjoy them in theatres, and to know that something like this happened is beyond heartbreaking,” he said.

As a gesture of solidarity, Allu Arjun announced a ₹25 lakh donation to Revathi’s family. He assured them of his emotional and financial support, stating, “From my side, I want to donate ₹25 lakh as a gesture to show I am there for you, especially for the children. We will also cover any medical expenses and provide support for the children’s needs in the future.”

Arjun also requested fans to prioritize safety while attending such events. “We make movies so you can enjoy them with your families. When something like this happens, even we feel bad. I urge fans to be careful and ensure they return home safely after watching films.”

The incident has prompted reactions from the film’s production house, Mythri Movie Makers, as well as Rashmika Mandanna, who expressed deep anguish over the tragedy. The producers confirmed that Bunny Vas, on behalf of Allu Arjun, had already reached out to the family to offer assistance.
